Irecently purchased an Alligator Hide-N-Sleep for my sweet little rattie Shilo. Shi has battled tumors all her life and the last one (removal wasn’t a viable option this time) grew large. While her cage is extremely large, she was depressed at losing the mobility to climb her stairs to the top or fit into the pirate ship hammock. In fact, when I saw the Alligator in Paris Farmers Union, I did some quick measurements and sure enough she and her luggage fit. She loves it so, sleeping in the jaws/ mouth area and putting snacks in its hind-end. She loves to bounce and wiggle the jaws. This has delighted us all and will always be an option for geriatric rat care in the future.
